ECOLE BROADWAY - The First Superior Musical Theatre School in Belgium

 

Founded and led by Alexandre Diaconu Ecole Broadway offers a complete training program in Musical Theatre that lasts one year, at the end of which you are given a certificate attesting you have studied Musical Theatre at the Broadway School of Musical, acces to our casting data base for auditions and membership for life to the Ecole Broadway Group which gives you access to study field trips in London and Paris, Master Classes and future shows put on by the School.

 

The First Year is very rich and intense. We propose theory courses: 

 

History of the Musical

Theatre Styles

Text and song Writing

Orchestration

Music Theory

Famous Interpretations

 

and the practical courses:

 

Music Class ( the study of belt-ing)

Theatre Class 

Dance Class

Theatre Improvisation

 

Once you've graduated your 1st year, you can then continue with a 2nd year of purely practical courses:

Casting Preparation ( where you will prepare 5 songs for each Musical Period in History, having at the end of the 2nd year a strong repertoire of 34 to 40 songs you can present at auditions on the West End or Broadway) and Dance Classes.

 

Ecole Broadway is committed to offering training to people from a wide variety of backgrounds. To reflect this, our admission policy is through audition and interview rather than academic qualifications. The process is designed to investigate a candidate’s current and potential abilities, and their suitability for a career in the profession.

 

Auditions are open to students who will be 18 years at the time of course entry. In order to apply for an Audition, you have to send us a mail to: contact@ecolebroadway.be

2. Your CV and a photo

3. A letter in which you explain why you want to do this profession

4. A recording (non-professional recording accepted) of your voice singing a song from the Musical Repertoire ( ex.Mary Poppins, The Phantom of the Opera, Cats, Jekyll and Hyde, etc)
